School Procedures
The new COVID Normal operations for schools in 2021 now allows for parents to be on school sites. To limit possible transmission of COVID-19 on school grounds two key principles must be followed:
Adults should limit gathering at drop-off and pick-up time, in the car park, outside classrooms and at the school gate.
Schools will continue to ensure physical distancing and high standards of health and hygiene are practised on site in accordance with Queensland Health advice .
To maintain these principles please only be on the school grounds for a specific purpose. Please limit your presence on the school grounds to the following:
· To visit the administration building
· For an arranged appointment with a staff member
· 'Drop and Go' if you have walked your child to class
· 'Walk and Talk' to avoid lengthy parental interactions (ideally parent interaction is best off the school grounds)
